My wool is incredibly soft and luxurious to the touch, making it the envy of all wool enthusiasts. I come from a unique lineage: my mother is a Gotland sheep, known for her fine, lustrous curly fleece and excellent adaptability, while my father is a purebred Valais Blacknose, recognized for his striking curly fleece and distinctive black markings on his face and legs. This extraordinary combination has given me the best attributes of both breeds, resulting in my status as an F1 ewe.

Please don’t blame my mom for wanting to jump the fence to be with my father; he is very handsome! While I don’t expect to develop horns, peer-reviewed genetic research suggests that my future offspring may inherit this trait if bred with another 100% Valais Blacknose. I’m excited to see how these characteristics will manifest in the next generation!
